Covid-19: The 3rd Ottawa continues to follow Scouts Canada guidelines for Covid, which are presently at Stage 5 which effectively lift all internal restrictions for all Scouting activities while deferring to all municipal and provincial public health restrictions.  While masks are not mandatory they are welcome in all sections.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 season – All of our Sections are up and running and holding meetings and camps. The days and times our Sections meet this year are as follows:

Beavers: Mondays 6:15 – 7:15pm
Cubs: Wednesdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Scouts: Mondays 7:00pm – 9pm
Venturers: Mondays 7:30pm – 8:15pm, some virtual meetings on Discord

About the 3rd Ottawa: The 3rd Ottawa Group is the oldest continually operating Scouts Canada group in the Ottawa area.  We are located in the Westboro area of Ottawa, we are Sponsored by and meet at Westminster Presbyterian Church.  

To register with the 3rd Ottawa, simply go to Join Scouts and follow the prompts.  You will choose the 3rd Ottawa Group during the signup process.

One of our “Swim Up” Ceremonies As youth move up from one group to another, Scouting groups usually hold a ceremony to welcome youth to the next section in Scouting. Below is a sample video of what a “Swim Up” looks like (done outdoors at Westboro Beach)
