The 3rd Ottawa has been serving Ottawa communities since 1911, bringing adventure and working to achieve our mission of helping to develop youth, better prepared for success in the world. Our commitment to local youth and families across region is to help youth build self-confidence, experience fun adventures, and further prepare them for future success.
We are happy to work with community partners in programming and sponsored events that help achieve this mission, and every dollar goes into youth programming. If you are interested in supporting local community youth attend international adventures, have the latest equipment, and become leading members of the Ottawa community, please consider a donation to our group. If you would like this donation used towards a particular event or activity, please use the “Tribute Gift” text box to make your wishes clear (note that the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) does not permit charitable gifts directly to named individuals).
Scouts Canada has access to provide 3rd Ottawa the funds you designate directly into our bank account. This method of donation also ensures you will immediately receive a donation receipt from Scouts Canada. If you would like to support youth from families with limited means take part in Scouting, we encourage you to support our National No One Left Behind program, for which getting more youth into Scouting is the sole objective.
