Cub DYB Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients |
For 3 dozen |
For 6 dozen |
‘Dry’ Ingredients Flour Baking Soda Salt |
1 ¼ cups ½ teaspoon ¼ teaspoon |
2 ½ cups 1 teaspoon ½ teaspoon |
‘Wet’ Ingredients Shortening Brown Sugar; packed White Granulated Sugar Egg Vanilla |
½ cup ½ cup ¼ cup 1 large ¾ teaspoon |
1 cup 1 cup ½ cup 2 large 1½ teaspoons |
‘Special’ Ingredient Chocolate Chips |
1 cup | 2 cups |
WASH YOUR PAWS AND CLAWS SET OVEN TO 375 ºF
In one bowl,
Stir together ‘dry’ ingredients
In a second bowl,
Beat shortening and sugars together until it starts to be fluffy
Beat in the egg and the vanilla
Add the ‘dry’ ingredients to the ‘wet’ ingredients
Beat them until well combined— you now have cookie dough
Add the ‘special’ ingredient to the cookie dough
Stir in carefully
WASH YOUR PAWS AND CLAWS AGAIN!!
Divide the dough into 3 big balls; make 10-12 cookie balls per big ball
Place the balls on cookie sheets
Bake 375 ºF for 8-10 minutes or till done
FINAL PAW AND CLAW WASH
Cool cookies for a few minutes on cooling rack
Have a cookie and milk break!
