Below
are directions to Fitzroy Provincial Park. Please note that new Scouts
Canada regulations (entitled Two Deep Leadership) require a minimum
of two adults in a car, when one of those adults is a Scout Leader.
This means that the leaders are not arranging transportation. It does
not mean that you cannot arrange with other cub parents for the transportation
of your cub to and from the camp.
- Take the Queensway to Eagleson and exit, heading North
- Pass the high-tech corridor (Mitel, Cisco, Alcatel) and continue.
After the road curves to the left, you will see a set of lights
at Dunrobin Road. Turn Right and head towards Dunrobin.
- Keep straight through Dunrobin and proceed towards Constance
Bay. At Constance Bay, the Road curves to the right, and there
is a steep hill in front of you. Stay left and proceed up the
hill.
- Continue straight on Dunrobin road, past Buckham's Bay, until
you see Galetta Side Road. Turn Left.
- Proceed on Galetta Side Road until you see Canon Smith Road.
Turn Right onto Canon Smith.
- Roughly 2.5Km later you will see the entrance to the park on
your right. The group campsites are located East of the highest
Parking Area shown on the map.
