2006 - Ottawa Police Canine Unit

On March 22, 2006 we welcomed Officers Dan and Reg from the Ottawa Police Services Canine Unit, and they (and their dogs Trigger and Val) gave a great demonstration of an attack dog (Trigger) and a bomb sniffing dog (Val). We also welcomed the Cubs of the 92nd Ottawa. Click on the image for a larger version Trigger is a German Shepherd and loves to attack - a very strong (and as you can tell large) dog. Val is also a German Shepherd but is a bomb sniffing dog - he can smell all kinds of explosives Trigger was anxious to get going Our Kim had a good time helping arrest the rowdy ones! The 3rd arrests the 92nd!
